I don’t think it will work like this. The load_plugin_textdomain is already called during plugins_loaded hook by FSQM. Then you are overriding it again in the theme. I am not sure, but this is definitely a wrong approach.
So I strongly recommend to place the translation files inside the translations directory of FSQM where it should be.
